WHAT IS RSS? |
RSS also known as "Really Simple Syndication"
-- is a format for distributing and gathering content from sources
across the Web, including newspapers, magazines, blogs and podcasts.
Many major news organizations, community websites
and personal weblogs offer headlines and article summaries in
the form of news feeds. RSS lets you take these news feeds and
view them together in a simple list, so you can quickly find all
the articles that interest you from across the Web.
Using an RSS reader, users can subscribe to a news feed and instantly
be notified of any updates to the content on the website associated
with that feed.
